One of the most important decisions you will make during your self-build journey is which building system to use. The building system is the method used to construct the superstructure of the house.
To help with this decision-making process, the National Self Build & Renovation Centre is hosting its Building Systems Workshop again on 7th December 2024.
This workshop is designed for people at the early stages of a project, who are yet to decide which building method they are going to use. To help with this, our technical team will be available for 1-2-1 appointments throughout the day to discuss your project with you, highlighting the many benefits the Wallform ICF system will bring.
The workshop will also cover subjects such as:
- The different building systems available in the UK
- Pros & cons of each option
- Performance factors – airtightness and energy efficiency
- Cost implications
- Time on site required
- Impact on gaining finance and planning consent
