Construction of Woodrising, a modern low energy 6 bedroomed home, is continuing at pace in Chilworth despite the best (or worst) the British summertime can throw at it.
The latest photos from site hint at some of the building’s more unusual and unique features, including angular window heads and multi-monopitch roofing, which contribute to giving the structure a decidedly modern feel.
Both Wallform 375 and Wallform 250 are being used to build the house. The two systems have been cleverly combined by designer Richardson Architecture to accommodate different types of cladding, adding interest and variation to the final appearance.
Complementing this will be large areas of glazing, ensuring the finished home will not only be warm and comfortable, but full of light too.
