Timber-clad Modern Home

Timber-clad Modern Home

This striking self build project in Suffolk was constructed by the owner for him and his family. It consists of a single storey building, with kitchen, living and dining rooms to the south, and bedrooms to the north. The attached garage wing has a dedicated artist’s studio, and roof lanterns have been situated above the entrance hallway and dining room table to help maximise light levels inside the home.

The client opted to build to Passivhaus standards with our Wallform 438 system.

The outside of the house has been clad entirely in timber, which has taken on a lovely silver tone over the years since it was built.
