This fantastic, high-spec industrial unit with accommodation over was recently completed in Lancashire using our versatile Wallform 313 system.
The build took place during the winter of 2018 and was completed by two men in under 10 days ready for the roof installation to begin.
Once concreted, our Hot Wire Cutter was used inside to melt chases into the Wallform panels ready for electrical and water services to be installed.
The cladding is local stone at ground floor level and weatherboard at first. Stainless steel ‘remedial’ type wall ties were inserted through the Wallform outer panels prior to concreting, ready to be cast in to support the stone skin. The dark grey composite weatherboard is through-coloured and so doesn’t require re-painting to keep it looking at its best.
The completed building was left unoccupied with no heating on for several days during Christmas 2018, yet it maintained an internal temperature no lower than 19°C!
The Builder, VBS Construction, is now underway with a large detached Wallform property that they expect to complete later this year. More photos will no doubt follow!
