Wallform Makes for a Sound Choice

A T Junction formed using BecoWallform 313 and 250 ICF wallblocks

Here’s a recent photo showing an example of a ‘textbook’ BecoWallform T-Junction detail formed by the Wallform 250 Firewall block intersecting with the external Wallform 313 shell wall.

The photo was taken on one of our recent projects near Mansfield in Nottinghamshire. These first two courses of Wallform are now filled with waterproof concrete, forming the substructure walling to a nicely sized four bedroom detached property, further photos of which will follow as this project progresses.

Using Wallform for key internal load-bearing walls can improve the overall speed and continuity of the build, particularly for self-builders. Plus it gives the opportunity to acoustically separate part of the home from the rest of the living area – ideal if you plan to have rooms that will generate lots of audio such as a home cinema, games room or music room, or conversely want a quiet room for a home office or downstairs bedroom.
