Sheffield City Council is one of only 11 councils in the UK to be awarded “vanguard status” for the Government’s Right to Build pilot scheme which aims to help aspiring custom or self-builders get their projects off the ground. So why not come along and find out more at this Custom Build Public Information Event being organised by Sheffield City Council and BuildStore on Saturday 22nd November at Sheffield Town Hall.
Self-Building in Sheffield
Beco Wallform is the ideal way to build your new custom home, so we’re excited to be sponsoring this event which is for anyone interested in building their own home in Sheffield, whether by themselves or as part of a group initiative. The Council has identified a number of suitable custom build sites and is also keen to help enable custom build on local privately owned land.
Throughout the afternoon, you’ll be able to browse various exhibits, meet local groups, chat with developers, architects, and of course us, as we’ll be exhibiting the BecoWallform system on our stand.
A formal presentation introducing custom build and how it works, along with plans for Sheffield, will take place between 1300 hrs and 1430 hrs.
Refreshments will be available during the event, which promises to be a great day for all would-be self builders, so don’t miss it! We’ll look forward to seeing you there!
